Our Principal, Smt. Sobhana Devadas, received the award from the Chief Conservator of Forest,  Shri. T. M. Manoharan, in the presence of Honourable Minister for Education Shri. M. A. Baby & the Honourable Minister for Forest Shri. Binoy Biswom.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Thrissur, bagged the Best School Award for the Best Herbal Garden raised in our school campus during the project period 2006-2009. Our Medicinal Garden has a collection of 500 varieties of medicinal plants. And, our Biology teacher Smt. K. Jayalakshmi received the Best Teacher Coordinator Award.

Shoba Menon, Vice Principal, received the award from the Hon. Minister for Food & Civil Supplies, Shri. C. Divakaran.
 
Food & Nutrition Quiz Competition
The team represented the school, Master Mithun Manohar and Master Midhun. K. of Std. X, bagged the Second Position in the Food & Nutrition Quiz Competition organized by Association of Food Scientists and Technologists (India), Thrissur Chapter.
 
National Talent Search Examination Scholarship 2010
Kum. Parvathy. S. of Class IX-B has become eligible for the scholarship by clearing all the levels of National Talent Search Examination 2010.
 
Chinmaya Educational Cell Scholarship 2010
Kum. Nanditha. S. of Class X-B and Kum. Suvarna. N. G. of Class XI has become eligible for the Chinmaya Educational Cell Scholarship by securing 80% or more marks in aggregate for 3 consecutive years.
 
International Assessment for Indian Schools (IAIS) Examination 2010
A diagnostic test conducted jointly by Macmillan and The University of New South Wales. The test mainly aims at providing valuable and detailed diagnostic reports for specific improvements of students as well as boosting the confidence level and helping the students realize their optimum potential. In the IAIS Examination 2010, 4 students bagged Distinction in Mathematics, 1 student bagged High Distinction in English, and 3 students bagged High Distinction in Science. Aiswarya. J. Panampilly of Std. IV is the topper in both English & Mathematics.
 
Mayookhashree 2010 Competitions
To commemorate the Silver Jubilee celebrations, Mayookhashree 2010 was held in our Vidyalaya in the month of November 2010. Sri. V. P. Iswardas, MD and CEO, Catholic Syrian Bank was the Chief Guest. Issac Jose of Std. XI-B, from Chinmaya Vidyalaya Thrissur, was adjudged as the “Best Speaker” for his presentation on the topic - “From time to time, take a close and honest look at yourself. It pays” and the school also received the ever rolling trophy.
 
All Kerala Declamation Contest
In the All Kerala Declamation Contest held at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur, Sethulakshmi.V. of Class XI-A was judged excellent for her performance.
 
English Language Proficiency Examination and the Mathematics Talent Search Examination
Thrissur Sahodaya Complex conducted in the English Language Proficiency Examination and the Mathematics Talent  Search Examination, a good number of our students have secured Gold medals.

Gita Chanting Competitions
Devadath Mullappilly of Std. III-B secured the first place, both Sradha. K. of Std. I-B and Bhadra Hrishikesh of Std. XII-A secured the third place in the Gita Chanting Competitions conducted by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in connection with Srikrishna Jayanthi celebrations.
In the District Level Gita Chanting Competition conducted by the Chinmaya Mission, Neeranjali, Thrissur, Gouri Kripa of UKG-B secured the first place, Sreya. K. of Std. VI-A secured the third place and Devadath Mullappilly of Std. III-B secured the consolation prize.
In the State Level Gita Chanting Competition, Sreya. K. of Std. VI-A secured the third place.
