ECO CLUB ACTIVITIES
Environment awareness is the need of the hour. To create environment consciousness among children, the school has an actively functioning ECO CLUB comprising of about fifty students and a teacher coordinator. Various activities in and around the campus are organized by the club. The activities include :

A Herbal Garden Development Project by OISCA - International. (Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement - International).
It is a three year project envisaging the following objectives.

1. Preservation of Medicinal Wealth.
2. Creating awareness among the students and the public.

A club with 100 students along with teachers execute the activities to perfection. We actively involve children right from the beginning for the establishment and maintenance of the garden.
This year our school has been awarded as the “Best School Garden for the Year 2006”.

Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth, is an affirmation of a priceless cultural heritage rooted in what is essentially Indian. With the onslaught of rapid change and global homogenization, this multifaceted Indian heritage is being increasingly marginalized and diluted. SPICMACAY seeks to conserve and promote

an awareness of this rich and heterogeneous cultural tapestry amongst the youth of this country through focus on the classical arts, with their attendant legends, rituals, mythology and philosophy and to facilitate an awareness of their deeper subtler values. Its work is educational in spirit and character and locates itself in institutions only.
The main aim of SPICMACAY is, inculcating the spirit of service without expectation of rewards. Its main activities are Lecture-cum-demonstrations, Fests - a chain of concerts, Baithaks - informal chamber concert, Talks by enlightened individuals, Yoga / Holistic Camps, Folk arts & crafts, Virasat - performances and workshops in folk and classical arts, crafts, cinema, yoga, etc.
We being the member of SPICMACAY, are benefited by periodical programmes like lecture-cum-demonstrations, workshops, performances of veteran artistes. We are proud to inform you that we could successfully and meritoriously hosted the State Convention of SPICMACAY for the year 2007 and our children were exposed to the programmes such as - Gurbani, Sankabadan, Kathakali, Koodiyattam, Classical Vocal.
